She wrapped him in cloths as well as put him in a manger, since there was no guest space offered for them.8 as well as there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, as well as the glory of the Lord shone around them, as well as they were terrified. 10 however the angel stated to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you great news that will cause fantastic joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a indication to you: You will discover a infant wrapped in cloths as well as lying in a manger.”13 suddenly a fantastic business of the heavenly hold appeared with the angel, praising God as well as saying,14 “Glory to God in the greatest heaven,and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”15 When the angels had left them as well as gone into heaven, the shepherds stated to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem as well as see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”16 So they hurried off as well as discovered Mary as well as Joseph, as well as the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 as well as all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds stated to them. 19 however Mary treasured up all these things as well as pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying as well as praising God for all the things they had heard as well as seen, which were just as they had been told.
